Computers have a huge impact on our lives. My life would be totally different without the use of the computer because first of all I would not be able to post this blog online. Also, I would not be able to return to school if classes were not available online. Distant learning is a necessity for me because I am a single parent. I feel I have to be at home in the evenings to attend to my children's needs and therefore my time is valuable.
Another reason having a computer is essential to me is because it helps me save valuable time with online banking with direct deposit. I can conveniently pay my bills online, order my children's clothes, shoes, my books for school and other miscellaneous items. This saves a trip to the store and saves gas as well.
Communication with friends, family, and finding new acquaintances is made easier and quicker via the use of computers. I can send invitations online to events and occasions which too saves time, money and gas for a trip to the store to purchase invitations, stamps, envelopes etc.
Having access to computers has made a significant difference in my life for the better. Computers helps my life to operate more effectively and efficiently. I can not imagine not having one.
